When A Judge Threatens Parental Authority...
Unbelievably enough, one of our "venerable"and "honorable" courts of so-called "justice" just overturned a father's grounding of his wayward 12-year-old daughter!
With such protection, kids today can safely get completely out of control with the comforting knowledge that they will be protected by the "Long Arm of the Law" - HA! What kind of law it is, that, NOBODY KNOWS! The clueless judge who delivered such a sentence should be tarred and feathered - along with that OTHER judge who decided that a child less than 6 years of age "could not have been too severely traumatized" by the serial RAPE she had suffered at the hands of her very own sicko FATHER! (And, as if to add fuel to the fire here, THAT judge was a WOMAN! How could a woman pass such judgment?!? The easy answer: she had the hots for the defendant and "justice" like that is BLINDER THAN LOVE AND LUST COMBINED! Everybody knows THAT... But I am digressing once again here... This is, after all, the lukewarm blog - not the lambasting one! I cannot get "too involved" - have to, rather, stay on-topic, man! Let's move on...)
I swear, if such a thing happened to me, I'd spank my brat right in front of the so-called judge! See what its next inbred "judgment" would be, THEN...!
These sort of things make me only reaffirm all the more my trust in only ONE Judge - the Almighty One!

Court overturns father's grounding of 12-year-old

OTTAWA (AFP) - A Canadian court has lifted a 12-year-old girl's grounding, overturning her father's punishment for disobeying his orders to stay off the Internet, his lawyer said Wednesday.
The girl had taken her father to Quebec Superior Court after he refused to allow her to go on a school trip for chatting on websites he tried to block, and then posting "inappropriate" pictures of herself online using a friend's computer.
The father's lawyer Kim Beaudoin said the disciplinary measures were for the girl's "own protection" and is appealing the ruling.
"She's a child," Beaudoin told AFP. "At her age, children test their limits and it's up to their parents to set boundaries."
"I started an appeal of the decision today to reestablish parental authority, and to ensure that this case doesn't set a precedent," she said. Otherwise, said Beaudoin, "parents are going to be walking on egg shells from now on."
"I think most children respect their parents and would never go so far as to take them to court, but it's clear that some would and we have to ask ourselves how far this will go."
According to court documents, the girl's Internet transgression was just the latest in a string of broken house rules. Even so, Justice Suzanne Tessier found her punishment too severe.
Beaudoin noted the girl used a court-appointed lawyer in her parents' 10-year custody dispute to launch her landmark case against dear old dad.

Typical in Canada.....bad man, bad dad. Good to see a male stand up to femeinist behaviour. No doubt the daughter was manipulated.....unfortunate for her.

This judge has clearly lost her marbles!!! What is she trying to do... rip families apart? First the courts said you cannot spank the child, now the court is saying that a parents denying a child the privilege of a school trip as a punishment is too sever, soon we will hear that parents cannot even puff hot air (speak strongly) in disagreement to their kids. Where will this madness end? This is a very, very sad day!!

Absolutely ridiculous. How dare the Courts step in. We don't have enough handle on our kids these days as it is. This fukcen judge needs his azz removed. Corrupt basturds!

If the child is not being abused, the Courts should stay out of family rearing. Let the Courts raise their own teenagers and see how they would like it if one of their precious little angels took them to court. Child raising is NOT an easy task. Parents pour their Time, Love, Money, and Energy into their kids. They deserve RESPECT from those kids and from the Courts. Leave them alone, if they're not being abused. It looks like the Parents are the Victims here. The Tables need a turn around here.
