Sounds Like Santa Claus Giving Up On Your Gifts TO ME...!

On Christmas Day, the GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY might be, for some, that "the boys are coming home"... (They won't make it in time for the real deal holiday, but that is not the point right now... Somehow...)

These "good news" are about a "world security and watchdog group" that is all set (and all-packed, ready) to leave Croatia at long last.

I guess that, by their estimates, their "large-scale mission" there is over and COMPLETE.

Ha. Right. And Santa's sleigh really did stop by my rooftop - a Christmas miracle said rooftop DID NOT cave in! But that's another story...

The O.S.C.E. (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) felt that all that could be done in Croatia effectively WAS accomplished since the mission opened there waaaaay back in 1996.

Thus, eleven years later, it's goodbye and good riddance!

Not sure it's such "good news"... After all, one can always prolong one's stay AND welcome as long as there are no guerilla tactics bombing you to smithereens to get you OUT...!

Granted, the "OSCE" will be upkeeping an office there still - to "monitor trials of war crime suspects" as well as monitor the return of Croatian Serb refugees; those poor saps who left Croatia during the 1991-95 senseless Serb-Croat war...

Still, this all feels like Ol' St-Nick bailing out on ya on THE VERY DAY that he's supposed to deliver the goods - more than partly due to the day in which this came out on the news press release wires, I admit!

Merry Christmas, OSCE Observers!
And try and be merry too - in Croatia, that is...

Yeah... So What?

And now, if anyone needs it,
here is a musical break for you all!
Not here though -
go ahead, click and open a new TAB!
And hope it works too!
(I would've embedded videos
or playlists from Deezer.com
or some other widget thingie provider
but really now - with the luck
that I ahve had lately with those
I am not inclined to do so
and likely EVER AGAIN
go into the "extra effort"
for THAT...!
Slap me with a lukewarm label
about THAT too now!
But prepared to be slapped too
if you dare literally slap me!
*lol*
But enough digressing...)

Yeah - so what indeed?

"Yeah, you're everywhere that I'm not"
And, as with Martha Stewart,
it is a GOOD THING -
right?

Contains such enlightened lyrics as:

"My heart has a mind of its own;
Your heart has a mind of its own"
wow - nice lyrics!

"There's Gonna Be Trouble Somewhere"
Well... As long as it's everywhere where I'm not
I can remain lukewarm about it - right?
:!
I do not encourage anyone to think that way
am not condoning this line of thinking
in any way, shape or form
and am merely jesting here, - yes!

Saturday Is AIDS Day

Le Marabout Sait... Si, Si... Da, Da...!
Ou est-ce bien, en fait,
Le Moribond qui sait mieux...?

Quant à "savoir"...
"IGNORANCE IS BLISS"
et ça prend tout son sens ici...

I admit not to be entirely sure
whether "AIDS DAY"
aka MAYDAY FOR H.I.V.
is today Saturday
or if it was on Friday...?
My own newsanchor dude
seemed confused on the subject...
And, since I am posting it here,
on the LUKEWARM BLOG
(on top of the Lugubrious one,
where it belongs)
I am not observing this day
ritualistically or otherwise
(it goes without mentioning)
so - it could be either day, really...

I do feel for those who are ill
but - they should have known better.

Ah - this video confirms: it was on Dec. the 1st

amfAR.org pretends to light a candle for
every single one of them H.I.V. patients...
Don't - it only symbolizes all the more
that they're on borrowed time now...
amfAR.org wants to contain the spread of the virus...
I've got two words for you, amfAR.org -
"abstinence" and "impossible".

Hmm... amfAR.org also wants
all of us here to help "win the fight"
The fight against AIDS
or the "war on Terror"...?
Both are equally hopeless!
But I digress...

It goes to show, actually,
that superficial people
do not know how to choose.
They're so picky who they KISS -
and they get AIDS.
They go about being picky
all the wrong way
and, thus, have reaped
what they had coming.
And those they frowned upon -
well, they can count themselves
BLESSED!
