I was on IMDB.com the other day, sharing my movie knowledge freely and for free too, with the masses, when I was suddenly halted by THIS:

I could rave right now
How all my predictions came true
How the Montreal Canadiens
proved to be nothing but PRETENDERS
not top notch CONTENDERS at all
hence proving that they were only LUCKY
and riding a wave of ignorant bliss
and make-believe overconfidence
against the Boston Bruins

How the San Jose Sharks choked
yet again

And how the New York Rangers
simply WILL NEVER BUY
ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP
EVER, EVER AGAIN!

(Nota Bene:
the same applies to
the Damn Yankees!)

But the truth is
I am WAY too lukewarm
about all that crap
to even GIVE A DAMN!


No, really,
NONE of that really matters -
NONE of it...

And to the
Red Wings fans
Penguins fans
Stars fans
and Flyers fans
I say this:
your euphoria
will be short-lived
and likely
not even remembered
in a very, very short while!

As for my team,
even if, this summer, they
replace the faltering parts
(an aging Glen Murray;
a mercenary Peter Schaefer;
a temporary fit, a.k.a.
Glen Metropolit...)
with top notch
snipers/marksmen -
thus definitely fixing
their only true problem
and propeling the team
into TOP CONTENDER
status for YEARS to come,

I don't give a damn!
