Can Brats Be Disciplined?
Nouvelle discipline dans les autobus scolaires (23/11/07)
Voting for her was always a pleasure
(oops - I forgot to! I wasn't even registered!)
She's off-limits, unattaignable and unreachable - and most probably
accounted for as well (now that sure is registered - from the get-go!)
At the announcement of this strict new code of conduct
(things like "don't disturb the driver",
"don't moon the other drivers that happen to
find themselves right behind the bus on the road",
"don't gouge the eyes out of the kid sitting next to you"
and, of course, "don't open the window to spit at either
pedestrians or onto other vehicles' windshields!"
- among many other things...
THAT A BRAT SHOULD ALREADY KNOW
and would know if he/she/it had had
DECENT PARENTS...
But that is another story...)
Soooooooo - at the hearing of such news,
I had to cook up the following
just to have some fun at the expense of
these somewhat utopian intentions
(on a smaller scale than the American
'war on Terror' - at least!)
- and what appeared to be a natural here
was to zero in on the elegant M.C.'s
habit of wearing a scarf, always...
Her paleness is the only thing that equals
her candor and elegance -
hence it is fair to assume that
she has been bitten... And now, like
Lucy Westenra in the Stoker's book,
she can be feared at night...
Kiddies may obey, after all...
IF they use my campaign tool right here:
as the composite term "chauve-souris" (which means "bat")
was "at the heart" of a sorry-excuse-for-a-debate recently,
one that involved the elegant Michèle Courchesne indeed...
(As well it should have - she is, after all,
"madame la Ministre de l'Éducation"...
(Or is it "Minister of Families" - they should
make up their minds about that!)
However, despite her influence, power, credibility,
competence and honesty as a politician (a rarity) -
she should not feel guilty for what is truly the mistake
of "L'Office de la Langue Française"...
If they cannot protect their own language
and are too idiotic to know any better than that
-what they have decided to do is to allow for the bastardization
of their own mother tongue! Ils sont fous ces Français-
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT, M.C.!
Nor is it your fault if the inept so-called journalists
that have the HONOR of interviewing you
cannot make the difference between your jurisdiction
and that of "L'Office..." - sheesh!
It's called RESEARCH, boys -
you have to do it BEFORE the interview!
Funny that a mere "blogger" would know BETTER, eh?
But that is another story... ;)
You can read both a short summary of the "un-debate"
and a commentary I left about it here -
or in the comments section! ;)
